These locations include NIKETOWN New York, Nike Georgetown, Nike Chicago, Nike Roosevelt Field, Nike Lenox and Nike Santa Monica via Twitter RSVP. One of the most overrated players of all-time, Andrew Bynum has signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In an attempt to keep Kyrie Irving in Cleveland, Dan Gilbert offered a two-year $24 million contract. After meeting with the Dallas Mavericks and the Atlanta Hawks, Bynum ultimately decided to go to the shithole known as Cleveland, Ohio. Now it is a long time before the start of the 2013-2014 NBA Season but it is a safe bet to make Bynum will bring some crazy hairstyles.
Finally, the Dwightmare is over. Dwight Howard has decided to land in Houston. Not to say we told you so, but Jasper Downey Does IT. Howard goes into a system where he fits, has flashy young talent around him, and will be under a great coach. The Houston Rockets go from 50-1 odds to 10-1 on winning the NBA Championship. Here at Jasper Downey we expect the Rockets to be a force in the West and a lot better than the Lakers.
Kyle Korver, arguably the most beautiful man in the NBA has agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Hawks. Prior to testing the free agent market, Korver spent the last season with the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, and Philadelphia 76ers before that. The deal is a four-year contract estimated around $24 million. Could this signing help bring Dwight Howard to Atlanta?
Personally I think Dwight Howard will either sign with the Houston Rockets or the Atlanta Hawks but you never know with the All-Star center. With the exception of last season, Howard was one of the most dominating centers in the NBA. Leading the league in rebounds and blocks, Dwight Howard has won numerous NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards and received plenty of All-Star accolades. There are reports stating that Howard will/will not stay in LA, either with the Lakers or the Clippers.
Here at Jasper Downey, we think that’s bullshit because we feel Howard wants to go into a system that fits him. The Rockets will be an exciting team to be apart of with Jeremy Lin, James Harden, Chandler Parsons, etc. That team is young, flashy, and gives zero fucks on the court. Also, with the Hawks Howard can be back home in Atlanta where he is loved by everyone, we think. Other reports we’re hearing is that Howard will go wherever Chris Paul goes, which he’s as indecisive as the next big market free agent.
Let us know via twitter where you think Dwight Howard will end up!
After everybody’s favorite bandwagon team won the championship last night (I see you over there laughing David Stern) Drake thought he’d join in the festivities in the locker room but was promptly denied entry. Best part? It’s all on camera. I thought you knew it was “No New Friends” Jimmy?
