Aaron Hernandez

Aaron Hernandez: Why?

Here at Jasper Downey we understand what it means to hang out with your bros and “ride or die” mentality but seriously Aaron, why? You’re a multi-millionaire NFL athlete that just signed a huge extension.

In case you haven’t been watching the news or not involved in the sports universe, now former New England Patriots’ Tight End Aaron Hernandez has been convicted of murder. What started as a simple obstruction of justice hearing turned murder conviction, Hernandez is in some real deep shit. Not only is he wanted for murder of Odin Lloyd but may also be connected to an unsolved double homicide in Boston. Hernandez comes from a single parent home who was a star at the University of Florida and has flourished in the NFL in one of the most prolific offenses of all-time. His father passed away when he was 16 and it seemed he was on the right track. But that all changed after the events of the past couple of weeks.

Aaron, you can always walk away from the gang bullshit. Your life was set. You went to a decent college, sorry we’re Gamecocks here at Jasper Downey, you were drafted by a “great” team, and they resigned you to a $40 million deal. Why do you need to shoot people in the eye, possibly murder someone, and get “Blood” tattooed on your arm? You can always walk away from the bad influences. If you didn’t murder anyone, we hope for the best, if not, then we’re sorry to say there is little hope for you. Jasper Downey’s condolences go out to the families affected by these tragedies. Also, we hope justice is served to the full extent and the complete truth be told to the public.
